Challenge

Every Chinese New Year, over 100 million notes are recycled as good-as-new notes, accounting for more than 40% of notes exchanged at banks. HKMA want to change people mind to encourage people using 「迎新鈔」“ying-san notes” (i.e. non brand-new notes that are clean and fit to use) for red pocket during the Chinese New Year.

Solution

By crossover with 大嘥鬼 Big Waster. Our team found a green and auspicious way to welcome the Chinese New Year. we created a series of videos to explain
the「迎新鈔」 “ying-san notes” on social media.
